STEEL HULL, THREE STATEROOMS, GORGEOUS YACHT! Kirawan is a beautiful, custom steel

trawleryacht built by a well-known and prominent Pacific Northwest boat builder which has

built durable commercial boats of all types for notable customers like the U.S. Coast Guard,

numerous public utility departments, and countless fisheries. This boat is one of a kind. It is a

classic. The great deck and inside space and character on Kirawan really sets her apart from

anything on the market in this area. She has an airy, homey salon and an exceptionally

functional and well-designed gourmet galley, spacious staterooms, and countless attributes

which make this an extraordinary yacht. Her bottom was done in May 2023. Your own personal tour awaits you. Call today for a walk-through and imagine your wonderful life aboard her!

Kirawan welcomes you inside from the aft deck and guides you into her bright and ultra-

homelike main salon. There is plenty of comfortable seating to enjoy the wonderful views out

of one of her many large windows. At night, Levolor blinds can be pulled down from the wood

valances to provide privacy when desired. She has plenty of recessed and other lighting to

brighten even the darkest days. A lovely wood desk with cabinet and an additional storage

buffet offer usability and storage options, and the beautiful propane fireplace creates an

intimate atmosphere. A starboard side door takes you to the side deck. Forward on starboard, a dinette with an L-shaped bench has room for additional seating. The dinette lies across from the vessel’s substantial galley, one which rivals many homes. A four-burner Tappan gas range is topped with a microwave and surrounded by expansive Corian countertops. The galley also has a Whirlpool side-by-side refrigerator, trash compactor and an extra large two-basin sink. There is a great amount of storage and a unique place for everything from spices to wine glasses, dishes to pantry items. From this point, a set of stairs takes you upstairs to the bridge and downstairs to the berthing quarters. A scuttle opening on the foredeck takes you to a stairwell which leads to the crew quarters, which has its own head. Upstairs in the bridge, the centerline helm has a 360-degree view and a movable cushioned captain’s stool with arm and foot rests. Wing doors on either side of the pilothouse lead to the side decks.

This space also has an oversized charting table, a long settee for company, as well as a large

double berth aft of the settee. Downstairs from the galley is a utility room on port. Here, you

will find a standard-sized Maytag washer and dryer, as well as a utility sink. The access door

to the engine room is also in this space. Forward of the utility room is a head with a shower

stall, sink, marine toilet and storage. Across the companionway is the aft stateroom. This

excellent sleeping space has two berths with storage drawers below, a shared night table with

more storage, a storage locker, hand sink, reading lamps and more. Forward on port is the

mid-stateroom. Here, you have a crisscross bunk bed with two single berths and oodles of

drawers and other storage options. The main stateroom is located in the bow and has two

single berths and a great amount on standing room. This stateroom has a huge hanging closet and drawers upon drawers upon drawers. A private head serves this room and it has a shower stall, marine toilet, and sink with a grand amount of counter-space and storage, as well as a venting window. Her two Monel water tanks carry a total of 2,500 gallons of fresh water, she has an 18-gallon water heater, and she also has a water maker system. The walls and floors of the berthing area on Kirawan are carpeted, creating a snug and quiet space where everyone can sleep soundly.

On Deck

Kirawan has all types of deck spaces that add a lot of versatility to her exterior. Her forward

deck is roomy and is a great space to store gear like crab pots or coolers, fish from this space, or set up chairs for a nice sightseeing cruise. She has a 12-inch Hydro-Slave hydraulic pot puller on starboard if you do decide to do some crabbing or shrimping. Up a few steps and past the pilothouse doors takes you to the upper deck. An 11-foot Bulldog dinghy is stored up here, lifted by the dinghy davit. What a wonderful deck to set up a few lounge chairs on sunny days! The lower deck is covered and romantic covered side decks extend the lower deck forward to the pilothouse.

The power behind Kiran comes from her two 2011 Cummins QSL9 engines with 1,600 hours on each. She cruises nicely between 6 and 8 knots at 1,380 rpm and her top speed is 10 knots or more, depending on conditions. Her five Monel fuel tanks carry a generous 6,000 gallons of fuel and she utilizes approximately 11 gallons of fuel per hour. She has an amazing range of approximately 4,500 nautical miles. She has hydraulic steering and Glendinning controls. When you need to anchor, she has a hydraulic Nordic steel drum windlass with 90 feet of chain and 600 feet of line.

It should be mentioned that the engine room is spotless and has plenty of room to get around.

Aft of the engine room is a large storage area.

Electrical and Electronics

When you are at the dock, this beauty plugs into 50-amp shore power. While underway, she  has s 2017 Cummins 11.5kw diesel generator with keel cooling and 2,400 hours on it. She also  comes with a Northern Lights 12kw generator, a Promariner battery charger and a Outbach  inverter. She has four start batteries and four housebank batteries. Navigating on Kirawan is  easily done with her redundant systems. She has two Furuno GPSs and radars, one Simrad  depth sounder, and a ComNav autopilot, and Coastal Explorer Nobeltec TimeZero charting  software.
