SEAS TO SEE has cruised, under her current five-year ownership, extensively throughout the US East Coast, Bahamas, Caribbean, Mexico, Guatemala, and Belize. In late 2019 SEAS TO SEA took an indirect underwater lightning shock from a neighboring sailboat that was directly hit. Her owner was quick to get the insurance company involved and what followed was a very extensive refit in 2020 through 2021 which saw the replacement of virtually all electronic systems and appliances aboard the yacht at a just shy of $1M USD. She was then extensively cruised for a year and a half after this incident and has proven to be problem free.
SEAS TO SEE has spent most of her life cruising at 10kts burning 21gph with short powerups to 16 – 18kts daily. Throttling back to 8kts reduces fuel consumption to 16gph providing a 2,250-mile cruising range.
