"Capt Blinky" is a custom designed, welded aluminum twin diesel inboard jet powered commercial pilot vessel. She has been used to transport pilots to incoming ships and to pick up pilots at sea off departing ships. She was designed to run in comfort in all types of sea states. Because of the nature of the work she was designed to perform, short term offshore personal ferry, she does not have accommodations, fresh water, or a head.
"Capt Blinky" has been meticulously maintained and all 1000 hour services have been completed with receipts. All equipment onboard is mechanically sound. There are two items still onboard that are no longer used, a rudder indicator (which is useless on a jet boat) and the spotlight which was replaced with a light bar but is still mounted overhead.
