2022 Allmand Custom 31' Rigid Inflatable Boat with 300 HP Diesel Motor. This boat has been completely custom built with similar design to a high speed military special operations/anti piracy RIB. 12 VDC system with two battery banks. One bank for engine starting consisting of a single group 3112 VDC AGM type battery secured in a plastic battery tray with a hold down bracket. One house bank composed of two 12 VDC group 31 AGM type batteries connected in parallel and secured in plastic battery trays by hold down brackets. Main battery over current protection fuses were installed, and battery charging was provided by a Blue Sea brand automatic charging relay, the engine's OEM type alternator, and a 120 VAC input Promariner Prosport HD 20 Plus 12 VDC/20 amp output marine grade battery charger. The battery charger was equipped with a factory 120 VAC power cord with male 15 amp plug designed to be used with an extension cord. A Marinco bulkhead pass through fitting was also installed at the aft seat area, so the cord can be readily accessed for use. System wiring consisted of thermoplastic insulated multistranded copper conductors and cables, and battery bank control was provided by a Blue Sea marine grade battery switch with bank paralleling position. A marked and secured DC switchboard was installed at the helm, and another marked and secured switchboard was installed in the center console/water closet. Over current protection was provided by thermal reset breakers at the helm switchboard, single pole single throw circuit breakers in the water closet switchboard, and various types of fuses and circuit breakers in the aft machinery space.
One electric starting OXE 1 model P.l.2VOXXL300 turbo charged six cylinder diesel outboard engine with 19.5 indicated hours rated 300 Hp at 4,200 - 4,400 RPM. The engine was equipped with indirect cooling and a three blade right hand rotation propeller. Engine throttle and gear selector controls were electronic types with an OEM single lever helm control. The engine was equipped with a pull lanyard style emergency helm shut down switch and an OEM multi-function digital helm instrument panel.
Steering:
A single watertight hull and deck assembly with self draining deck and compartmentalized inflatable buoyance tubes. The deck hatches and doors were apparently ABYC weather tight types.
