As you walk in the salon there is a huge U-shaped settee to starboard, opposite of the galley, dominates the elegant single-stateroom interior. There is also a small portside settee. There's a separate stall shower in the head, and the beautiful teak-and-holly cabin sole gives the interior of the 3800 a traditional feel found in few other boats. The cockpit, has about 70 square feed of space. The entire helm deck lifts mechanically for easy access to the large engine room.
