Cruisers Yachts combine eye-catching contemporary styling and a full complement of features and accommodations with affordability and practicality. One of the oldest American boat manufacturers, Cruisers Yachts has its roots in the Thompson Bros. Boat Building Co., established in 1904 in Peshtigo, Wisconsin. In the 1950s, the family-owned company moved to Oconto, Wisc., where it is still headquartered today, and began building larger cabin cruisers under the Cruisers brand name. In 1993, local entrepreneur K.C. Stock purchased the company and renamed it Cruisers Yachts. Continuous research and design development has given Cruisers a full portfolio of family-oriented motor yacht models ranging from 33 to 60 feet. Cruisers model ranges include the Cantius, Flybridge, Express and Bow Riders series.
Designed to provide more main-deck space than any other boat in its class, the Cruisers 390 Express Coupe boasts a 157-sq.ft. cockpit. Its unique design incorporates two large, L-shaped settees that face one another across the full beam of the boat with a centerline walkway to the swim platform in between them. This makes a great space for lounging, relaxing and getting ready for water sports – but when you are ready to sit down to dinner al fresco, your guests have a surprise in store. The port settee is installed on hidden tracks and can be moved to centerline to form a more intimate, U-shaped dining area with the starboard settee. While the cockpit is in “dining mode”, the transom access becomes a walkway on the port side. Ingenious! A standard wet bar tucked behind the helm seat lets you serve guests without having to go below. The sleek, Euro-style hardtop overhang provides shade for at least part of the seating area, while a standard skylight adds to this luxury express yacht’s open ambiance on deck. Forward, the well-laid-out command area features a comfortable double helm seat and excellent sightlines. The lower-deck layout incorporates a fully equipped galley and the head with large, separate shower. Forward is a V-shaped settee that converts to a berth. Amidships is a spacious, full-beam master stateroom that allows for full sitting headroom when you are seated on the berth. The yacht’s hullform, designed by C. Raymond Hunt Associates with 15-degree-deadrise running surface, lives up to the word “express” in this yacht’s name.
