This 1996 Westport 101 Cockpit Motor Yacht, "Hope" is a must see.
Meticulous attention has been paid to every aspect of HOPE’S design. Her handcrafted decor is matched by an innovative layout that provides numerous areas for relaxing and formal entertaining in the most elegant feel and comfort.
Each of the spacious guest staterooms has its own private bathroom with color coordinated marble accents, ample wardrobe space and port lights. The master stateroom has a king size bed and office area. Two guest staterooms and V berth each have a queen bed.
Aft of the pilothouse are the Captain’s and Crew cabins. The Captain’s cabin has a queen bed and vanity and the crew cabin two bunk beds. They share a shower and second vanity and separate toilet.
The main deck, which includes walk around side decks, is devoted to luxurious amenities and entertainment options for all. Hidden mahogany and glass pocket doors in the dining salon wall open to reveal a spacious showcase center island galley, with upholstered stools.
A large variety of water sport options await each guest. Sport equipment includes: diving and snorkel gear, Bauer dive compressor, and (2) RIB tenders. The cockpit features a dive tank storage and refill center, snorkeling gear storage and separate fishing gear locker.
The wheelhouse console is paneled in custom crafted Honduras mahogany with the instruments arranged for maximum visibility. There is an elegant 10' settee with table behind the 3' Stidd helm seats, providing a practical and comfortable viewing location for guests while underway.
Tucked under the flybridge overhang, protected from the sun, wind and rain, is an aft facing settee and table, suitable for relaxing and al fresco dining.
The flybridge has a remote helm area and steering console, guest seating with stools for (5) around a large bench with sink, icemaker and bar fridge and 4 custom sunning beds.

Originally launched as the "Lady Diane", whose owner totally redid the interior in Seattle. He then cruised the boat in Alaskan water, all through the Caribbean, plus time in the Mediterranean. In short, the "Hope" has been a superb cruising boat with excellent range. She is in Sydney, Australia, ready right now for another adventure. Bring your groceries and go!
The "Hope" is certainly one of the finest yachts in its size. Aside from having exquisite interior woodwork, a unique layout, and superb equipment, the seagoing capabilities are very exceptional. When this owner purchased the boat in Ft. Lauderdale, the first thing he did was to remove the huge Jacuzzi located under the cockpit and turn that area into another fuel tank. This gave her enough range to make the trip from Florida to Fiji on her own bottom.
And the layout is a bit different from most of the fine yachts in this size. The Captain's cabin, for example, is located just aft of the pilothouse with a queen bed, the Crew Cabin with two berths is next to it. This is a great arrangement for a yacht anticipating long passages at sea where the captain and crew are in position to act quickly if and when needed.
The interior finish is absolutely beautiful with some of the finest woodworking in the world very apparent. The on-deck layout is also unique, providing several sitting areas so folks have several choices as to where they wish to spend their time together or apart. Notable is the large Flybridge and boat deck allowing both a comfortable, pleasant space in bad weather or a wonderful aft open area for the nice days. Of course, there is a bar with an ice-maker and refrigerator and furniture for enjoying the sun and the view.
Below, the master has a king size bed, an adjacent head and a separate office. Both guest staterooms have queen size beds and adjoining private heads.
It should be noted that there are six heads on the boat for the convenience of the owner, guests and crew's area.
