The salon of "Game On" provides the ambiance of a much larger vessel with nearly 18 feet of beam and using every inch of space to its full potential. To port, the L-shaped lounge seating has great storage underneath and is perfectly situated to view the large flat screen television. The TV also overlooks the spacious dinette area conveniently located opposite the galley. Together, these features blend a most inviting interior ideal for relaxing, entertaining or campaigning on the tournament trail for weeks at a time.
Viking's craftsmanship and signature joinery work is evident throughout Game On's interior and features teak that is vanished with a high gloss finish for a rich ambiance. To add additional personality and luxury this sportfish is custom spec'd with a William Bales and Company interior. Your senses inform you that you are indeed aboard a Viking yacht the moment you enter the salon through the automatic sliding fiberglass door. Rich details and textures complement the hand-finished teak joinery throughout the salon, galley and interior spaces. Cool air thoughtfully pours from hidden registers behind teak valances to circulate the flow with minimal noise and draft. LED overhead and indirect rope lighting throughout the salon and silhouette blinds set the mood.
The galley is efficiently designed and located to serve the dinette and main salon areas. The custom countertops accent the teak cabinetry and custom tile backsplash. The galley island offers dual egress ways and houses the built-in Sub-Zero refrigeration and freezer units. Comfortable bar stools add useful and stylish practicalities. Large and deep storage offer maximum convenience and capacity and the insides of the cabinets and drawers are finished with teak and maple. Well engineered, the interior cabinetry has honeycomb-cored doors to help shed unnecessary pounds for speed and efficiencies underway. The galley also includes a microwave/convection oven, an electric three-burner range, and an in-sink disposal.
Down the companionway is the three-stateroom, two-head layout which maximizes the use of space for comfort and privacy. The companionway has access to the staterooms and guest head. Also, the washer and dryer are conveniently complemented with a nearby spacious linen locker.
The master stateroom has a custom inner-spring mattress and private access to the private head. The large walk-around berth has storage underneath and a custom upholstered headboard. Plenty of storage and space allow for long comfortable trips onboard.
The Master stateroom head is spacious and is privately accessed from the Master stateroom.
The forward stateroom has crossover berths. This stateroom is accessed from the companionway and also has its own private access to the guest head.
The guest head is located to port and has access from the companionway, as well as the forward and port guests staterooms. Tastefully decorated with custom wallpaper and Amtico flooring allow for luxury and functionality. The head is spacious and with the private accesses, it allows guests a lot of space.
The port guest stateroom features comfortable side-by-side berths with custom inner-spring mattresses. Well laid out, this stateroom offers another option for guests.
Like all Vikings, Game On's cockpit benefits from lessons learned and earned from thousands of hours on the tournament circuit. Every inch of the 151 square-foot cockpit earns its keep with form that follows function. The flying bridge overhang provides shade and spray protection over the observation mezzanine which houses freezer and other storage. The cockpit is complete with everything needed to fish for fun or competitively, and in the center of the custom teak deck is the Release Marine Trillion Series Fighting Chair.
The center console helm is the perfect command station with 360-degree visibility and superb built-in electronics stowage above and more stowage below. Deep compartments provide room for the custom Atlantic Marine Electronics package as well as accessory switches for yacht systems. More electronics are mounted in the overhead along with electric teaser reels, for trolling, kite fishing and dredge operations. Single-lever controls deliver silky smooth response and the DC assisted hydraulic steering and the teak helm pod adds a custom touch. Two custom Release Marine helm chairs and three comfortable lounges with storage below invite guests to relax and enjoy the ride. The port and starboard lounges feature removable backrests and the starboard lounge also has a built-in jump seat for watching baits. Forward, there is a top-loading freezer, an insulated drink box cooler, and a freshwater outlet.
The custom spec'd and professionally installed electronics package was outfitted by Atlantic Marine Electronics so Game On has superior state of the art navigation and entertainment systems.
The Palm Beach Towers built tuna tower is ideal for sighting those tournament winning fish and offers another helm to run the boat with stellar visibility.
Game On has a sleek and sporty profile that emulates being constantly in motion bow to stern from the aggressive rake at the stem to the gentle crown of the transom. In between, the metallic black windshield mask and molded feature lines in the flying bridge and deckhouse accent its fluid proportions with eye-pleasing devotion.
Mechanically, the new Viking 55 Convertible is peerless in construction and performance. Viking’s industry innovative powder-coated engine beds secured to dedicated intermediate bulkheads isolate torque and vibration to reduce engine noise and ensure drive-train alignment. The Delta-T engine room ventilation system incorporates supply and discharge fans for proper air supply and water intrusion suppression. A comprehensive gauge package, plus remote engine start/stop switches are accessible immediately inside the engine room access door. The centralized sea-water supply system saves weight and room by minimizing the necessary plumbing and hardware, yet maximizes delivery and capacity, while also providing redundancy. Valves and fittings are labeled, and chafe gear protects wiring and hoses where needed. Fiberglass hull side fittings reduce upkeep and add style. In addition to high-capacity bilge pumps, clean out pumps in the keel area, plus additional condensate pumps for the air conditioning and refrigeration systems help keep the bilge dry. All bilge areas are sealed with Awlgrip coatings for visibility and easier maintenance, as are brass thru-hull fittings in the engine room, lazarette and forward bilge areas.
Viking engineering is the industry’s benchmark but Game On is proof that they never stop improving with continuous research and development to be and remain the best. The composite resin infused hull is optimized for strength, stiffness and reduced weight to deliver maximum performance and seakeeping abilities. Bulkheads are vacuumed-bagged with composite materials for strength and durability. Prop pockets help to reduce draft and custom high-speed stainless-steel rudders utilize composite drip-less seal rudder bearings that are laminated into the hull for smoother handling easily felt at the helm.
