American luxury sportfishing and cruising motor yacht builder Viking Yacht Company was founded in 1964. Today, this family-owned and -operated yacht company is a world leader in semi-custom fiberglass yacht production with over 4,000 boats delivered. The Viking 76 Convertible combines spaciousness and long-range to make this yacht a perfect choice for any boater looking for a sportfish in this size range that also offers great accommodations for family and friends. It cruises comfortably, thanks to the model’s flatter deadrise, which allows the 76 to rise on plane with little if any bow rise. Featuring a well-equipped galley, with a large main pantry, the 76 features Viking’s new island design in the galley allowing easy passage on both sides. Overall, the yacht features a five-stateroom layout with a full-beam master stateroom. There also is a large starboard crew quarters with a head. An additional cabin with an island double berth on centerline boasts about eight feet of headroom. The 76 convertible also features a sandwiching balsa coring between layers of multidirectional fiberglass, for lighter yet stronger construction. Overall, she’s quite a beauty.
