The NMMA and Informa Markets have announced that the Tampa Boat Show, scheduled for September 10-12, is merging with the St. Petersburg Power and Sailboat Show, January 20-23, 2022. The combined event will be the largest boat show to take place on the Gulf Coast. The merge has been part of a long-term strategy to establish one premier boat show, which prompted to happen sooner in response to consumer demand. Moving forward, Informa markets will be the sole owner and producer of the combined event in St. Petersburg, Florida.
“Following discussions with marine industry stakeholders and exhibitors in the Tampa-St. Pete area, and listening to our attendees, we determined now is the time to merge the Tampa Boat Show with the St. Petersburg Power & Sailboat Show and begin building the Gulf Coast’s largest boating event,” said Andrew Doole, President, US Boat Shows, Informa Markets. “Combining these two leading Gulf Coast boat shows will streamline and enhance the attendee experience and deliver the most comprehensive display of boats and marine products in the region.”
The annual St. Petersburg Power and Sailboat Show is the largest event on the gulf coast, featuring an extraordinary selection of powerboats, sailboats in water and on land, and tents showcasing all types of marine gear.
