We are proud to announce the successful completion of all requirements for the 2022 Marine Industry Certified Dealer program. Galati Yacht Sales has been a founding member of the MRAA certification program since its inception in 2005 and has been certified ever since. For over five decades, we have been committed to the promise of providing an exceptional customer experience and offering complete customer satisfaction, whether you buy a boat, sell your yacht, or receive maintenance from one of our customer-dedicated service yards.
In 2005, as part of the Grow Boating program, the MRAA and the NMAA created a program endorsing all elements of exceptional customer support in an effort to deliver a better boating experience to consumers and provide marine dealerships the tools to improve performance standards. Galati Yacht Sales quickly became part of the program by way of Carmine Galati’s efforts to assist in creating the outline for today’s program, which is going on 18 years strong.
The Marine Industry Certified Dealer program supports dealers and sets them on a path to success by implementing sustainable principles that lead to unmatched retail experiences for customers and a thriving marine business. The fundamental focus areas are operations, facilities, professional sales/service process, customer satisfaction, and employee training satisfaction. The blueprint provided by the Marine Industry Certified Dealer program allows companies to evolve and flourish due to continuous focus on maintaining systems and processes, tracking customer and employee satisfaction, integrating trending best practices, and ensuring a dealership lives up to all performance-enhancing prerequisites.
Part of being certified also means marine dealers promise to abide by a Marine Industry Consumer Commitment, ensuring fair and equal treatment for every customer. With so many first-time boaters joining the boating community every year and an industry footprint of over $42 billion, it is paramount to have a program in place to ensure marine dealerships are providing customers with an exceptional experience. The commitment states:
Our dealership believes in the tenets of the Marine Industry Certified Dealership Program set forth in this consumer commitment. Established jointly by the Marine Retailers Association of Americas and the National Marine Manufacturers Association, these principles are established to ensure you an enjoyable boating experience. We seek to enhance that experience by providing trained, friendly employees, quality products, and reliable services. As part of our desire to continuously make improvements, please let us know if we should fail on our commitment or if you do not understand any information provided to you.”
