The 48 ST (Sport Tower) is a sharp looking rig with its fitted Palm Beach Towers' tuna tower. With its sleek sheer line, raked stem and razor sharp entry she melds perfectly with the one-piece wrap-around fiberglass. Sharing the design queues of the 48 Convertible, the 48 SC hosts plush comfort and entertaining amenities.
The command deck has L-shape port and starboard molded fiberglass consoles and three pedestal seats. There is plenty of stowage and available refrigeration. Each console has a pedestal mounted table and generous seating. The centerline helm delivers great sightlines, single lever electronic controls, power-assisted hydraulic steering, communications, entertainment, and navigation systems.
The salon has hand-finished teak joinery, a flat screen TV with surround sound and spacious appointments throughout. For relaxation and entertainment the 48 ST hosts a L-shape lounge and dinette. To port, the galley is accented with Cambria treatments, under counter refrigeration, a microwave/convection oven and plenty of stowage. The two stateroom accommodations include a queen-size bed forward with private access to the head. A starboard stateroom has upper and lower berths.
Convex hull sections add curvature and form to the running surface,
while molded running strakes accentuate lateral tracking and maneuverability. The 48 ST will cruise at 30 knots with a top end in the mid 30’s depending upon engine selection, sea conditions and load. The raked entry and forward chine are designed to pierce through hard seas and divert spray downward.
