This boat is sure to be a tournament contender with its day boat styling, impeccable performance, and versatility to fish for sails off Palm Beach or Costa Rica and blue marlin in the Bahamas. The layout offers unrestricted access to its 86-square foot cockpit that is fully equipped with a bait freezer, tackle stowage, insulated fish boxes, live well, and transom door with lift gate. The open salon with U-shape dinette and opposite cushioned lounge allow for everyone to be a part of the action in the cockpit while being protected in all weather conditions.
A notable feature of the Viking 37 Billfish is its lower helm, which allows the captain to find relief and comfort on cold days in the winter and hot days in the summers. The lower helm is also perfect for an owner wanting express style convenience. The center console fly bridge helm features single level controls, hydraulic steering, a pedestal helm chair, side lounges and jump seats.
Below deck, the Viking 37 Billfish offers a spacious layout thanks to its nearly 14-foot beam. Featured is a L-shaped galley to starboard with Corian countertops, stainless steel sink, electric microwave, microwave/convection oven, under counter refrigeration, and spacious cabinetry. To port is a generously appointed head including a shower stall, vanity, and medicine cabinet. Forward is a private stateroom that can accommodate a queen berth or be ordered with over and under berths. The 37 Billfish also has plenty of storage with starboard hull-side cabinetry, a pair of hanging closets, under berth drawers, and a fishing rod shelf.
Standard power is a pair of tier 3 common rail, in-line six-cylinder, turbo-charged and after-cooled Cummins QSB 6.7 diesels with 550 mhp, which deliver a 30 plus knot cruise and a top end approaching 35 knots, depending upon load, sea and environmental conditions. For ease of maintenance, each engine and other critical machinery is located beneath electrically-actuated hatches in the command deck area.
