Viking’s worldwide reputation for building the finest sport fishing yachts continued when they introduced the Viking 80 Enclosed Bridge model. The fishing cockpit is 216 square feet and includes a transom door, a freezer, tackle, live wells, and an ice chest. The stern fishing platform also has state of the art rod holders, and the stern deck comes complete with an overhang and sofas for comfort and luxury for those guests who want a front-row view of the action.
The Viking 80 Enclosed Bridge comes with state of the art M26 Seakeeper Gyro Stabilizer for the smoothest ride available despite what the seas may bring. There is also a custom designed tuna tower that comes already rigged with all of the equipment and electronics. The main helm area is spacious and high tech with a black leather captain’s chair flanked by a sofa and chair as well as a small U-shaped salon behind the command center. The wrap around windows of the enclosed bridge offer 360-degree views, and the black detailing eliminates glare.
The vessels extensive air conditioning system uses chilled water with individual thermostats in each of the five staterooms. The interior salon accessed by an electric sliding door. With a 21’ 4” beam, space abounds. The great room of the interior salon has a 60-inch flat screen television which features a virtual conference capability within the spacious J-shaped lounge. The galley is quite large and features a granite-topped counter with bar stools as well as a finely appointed leather seating area with an additional dining area beyond the galley.
The master suite is en-suite and is quite large with a walk around king sized bed and plenty of storage space. Each of the other staterooms has its bathroom and shower facilities.

The Viking design teams have crafted a lightweight resin-infused hull that adds to the vessel’s maneuverability even under the most trying of conditions. While there are a couple of propulsion options available, the Viking 80 Enclosed Bridge has the option of being powered by the tier 3 MTU Series 2000 V16 M96L diesel engines that can crank out 2,635 marine horsepower each. With this kind of power, the Viking 80 can reach its top speed of more than 40 knots in no time at all.
