Guide to the Viking 68 Enclosed Bridge Yachts for Sale
Viking leads the way with its hull design as the Viking 68 Enclosed Bridge is designed with composite cored resin infused into the entire shell producing a craft stronger, more powerful and more fuel efficient than anything yet created in its class.
The enclosed bridge design offers a state-of-the-art helm with high tech and an advanced navigational system that is designed to flow with the curves of the bridge. And the climate-controlled environment keeps this remarkable vessel riding through even the toughest of weather conditions. Also, the black leather of the interior and the surface reduces glare with the entire bridge acting as a second salon with 360-degree views. This second salon comes complete with a refrigerator, 24-inch television, and stereo system as well as walnut tables and cabinetry.
Walnut and stainless steel can be seen everywhere within the interior salon. The exterior door that leads from the advance bridge into the interior salon is sturdy, hinged and weatherproof. With a beam that measures 19’ 2”, Viking has envisioned a salon interior that has the look and feel of an extended living room. Behind a teak cabinet rests the entertainment center which includes a 46-inch flat screen television. The galley is L shaped and provides plenty of room including bar stools, teak, and stainless finish, granite countertops and plenty of storage capacity. Standing tall in its stainless-steel beauty is an interior staircase that allows guests to travel easily all around the vessel and gracefully connects the command bridge with the interior salon.
The Viking 68 Enclosed Bridge is easily adaptable and can be outfitted for either a three or a four-stateroom layout depending on the owner’s requirements. The master suite located midship has a walk around queen sized bed that includes a hanging locker, nightstand and plenty of additional storage space. All of the luxuriously furnished staterooms come complete with their private bathroom and fiberglass shower facility.
The stern based cockpit is built for sport fishing, is 172 square feet, and designed for the most prestigious tournaments in the world. There is a spacious mezzanine that is out of the weather and shaded due to an ample overhang that extends toward the stern from the enclosed bridge. The stern cockpit has a freshwater wash down area as well as flush mounted rod holders, a fixed box and a state-of-the-art fighting chair. Combine all of this beauty and performance with the MAN V12 1,900 CRM engine, and there is nowhere in the world that the Viking 68 won’t venture.
Since it made its first appearance in 2014, the Viking 68 Enclosed Bridge has taken the yachting world by storm. Coming in at 68’ 7” in length, sport fishing and nautical adventurers around the world have finally found the vessel that is a perfect match for their dreams.
