Team Galati is proud to sponsor the Bay Point Billfish Open, anticipated to be one of the most thrilling and enjoyable sportfishing tournaments on the whole Northern Gulf Coast. After more than a decade since the last Bay Point Tournament, the reimagined Bay Point Billfish Open returns as a new Blue Marlin tournament to the all-new Point South Marina. Kicking off June 28 – July 2, 2023, the tournament event promises to be one of the largest affairs of its kind held in Panama City Beach. Along with some of the best-competing teams in sportfishing, the event will also feature live music, an in-and-out-of-the-water boat show, and delicious food and drink options for all to enjoy.

About the Bay Point Billfish Open 

Like other well-known sportfishing tournaments, the Bay Point Billfish Open will include game fish species such as Blue Marlin, Tuna, Wahoo, and Dolphinfish, along with Catch and Release categories for all the Gulf of Mexico Billfish species. Cash awards will be based on 75 teams and awarded to the top three places in each of the five fishing categories — Blue Marlin, Catch and Release, Tuna, Wahoo, and Dolphinfish. Prize money is expected to exceed $1M for the first year. Anglers interested in registering for the tournament can do so by visiting the tournament website.
