Directions

From the north: Take I-275 south to Exit 32. Take 4th Street south to Gandy Blvd. Turn left on Gandy and continue for 1.7 miles. We're located on the right-hand side of Gandy Blvd.

From the south: Take I-275 north to Exit 28 (Gandy Blvd/Park Blvd/Pinellas Park). Turn right off exit and continue 3.2 miles. We are located on the right-hand side of Gandy Blvd.

I have been married for 22 years to Emily and have two wonderful children, Samantha and Dylan. Samantha is in her senior year at University of South FL majoring in Education and Dylan has just begun his senior year at Sickles High School. I am very blessed to have such a wonderful and supportive family, without them I would not have been able to achieve the success enjoyed today.

My career began in the electronics industry where I enjoyed 9 great years ultimately managing 13 stereo and cellular locations as well as two distributorships throughout Central FL. In 1992 I transitioned into the marine industry, holding various management roles at the dealer level until 1997. In 1997, I made the move into the Marine lending sector working with Green Tree Financial Services, Key Bank and later Transamerica Distribution Finance in holding various sales management capacities. While with Transamerica I was provided an excellent opportunity to work with the majority of manufacturers and dealer relationships in FL and throughout the country, I gained tremendous experience by gaining an excellent understanding of our industry’s supply chain in its peak years. In January 2004 I began my career with Galati Yacht Sales as the Director of Business Office Operations successfully launching our business office operations by developing new processes and procedures for closing all our customer transactions and providing very aggressive F & I products that provide our customers a preferred advantage and are still offered today including retail financing, extended service coverage’s, marine documentation and insurance products. In 2005, transitioned into location management as General Manager of Galati’s Tampa Bay operations where I hold these responsibilities still today. Shortly afterward in the summer of 2006 I was invited to participate in our companies Board of Directors supporting many strategic initiatives for Galati Yacht Sales. My career change to Galati Yacht Sales has been very rewarding in many ways, especially with our Top 100 Dealer achievements the past two years.

An avid boater for over 35 years, hailing from Jackson Tennessee, Kerry grew up boating on local lakes and rivers. In 1983, Kerry began his career in boat manufacturing as Production and Quality Assurance Manager, Century Boats and Brunswick Corp, gaining boat construction knowledge. Kerry says, “Using that knowledge to help customers choose the right boat, whether new or used, is a very satisfying experience. Interaction with customers and friendships established are the most important part of my job.”
