Maritimo C53 Cabriolet Yacht Description
Maritimo's C53 Sports Cabriolet offers an incredible value for her size, maintaining many of the features found in larger vessels. There is no need to compromise with the C53. Her sleek style, improved performance and luxury features are sure to please. The power of its twin 715 hp Caterpillar C12 engines, combined with a small propeller shaft angle and variable deadrise deep-V hull, give the C53 serious capabilities to handle day cruising or extended trips.
Maritimo’s uses three pieces of fiberglass to produce the solid construction of the hull, providing immense strength and rigidity. In the cockpit, the captain can easily open the garage – a large non-skid area capable of holding a 9-foot jet ski or a small dinghy – with just the press of a switch. Two spacious decks and a swim platform offer various opportunities to sun or swim. The sunroof on the upper deck opens electronically, flooding the area with natural light, while a shower provided in the transom will cleanse you of saltwater after swimming.
Inside, the salon and galley create an open and functional space, perfect for relaxing and entertaining. Large windows in the salon, coupled with the raked windshield, provide expanded visibility. A large U-shaped settee and teak table comfortably seat eight. The fully furnished galley includes a four-burner range and microwave, a sink and a large countertop.
Accommodations below deck include three luxurious staterooms. The master suite features a walk-around island bed with lights built into the teak headboard, a private shower and many clever uses of space, including three built-in storage drawers along the wall. The two guest staterooms provide sleeping arrangements for five; a separate head and full-sized shower that is shared between the two guest cabins. A convenient laundry center with a washer/dryer is found in the guest cabin.
Maritimo's reputation as one of the best boat builders in the world is well deserved and the C53 Sports Cabriolets is a prime example of why. Living onboard is comfortable for weekends or weeks on end.
