The Maritimo M50 is able to deliver the best of both worlds as it has the amount of entertaining space of a motor yacht and the rough water abilities of a convertible.
The cockpit of the M50 is a very versatile and large space. Off the cockpit is a large stern platform that is perfect for lounging by the water while at anchor. The cockpit features a forward facing seat and a removable teak table. Extra seats can be added for additional seating for dining. Also is the cockpit has additional helm controls to make it easier while docking or fishing.
Bi-folding doors connect the aft deck to the salon, allowing you to bring the outdoors in and for the host to be able to easily entertain from the galley. The galley on the M50 is midship, directly between the cockpit and the salon. The galley features Corian countertops, a cooktop, microwave, full-height refrigerator and pantry, and an Island for extra food prep space. This island allows two chefs to be working in the kitchen at the same time. Off the starboard of the galley are the stairs leading to the enclosed flybridge.
To the foward of the galley is the salon. Having a forward salon has several benefits. First off, it allows for spectacular views out of the wrap around windows. Secondly, it avoids through traffic between the galley, bridge, and cockpit. The salon on the Maritimo has ample seating. On the port side there is a L-shaped settee and table that is perfect for dining as additional chairs can be added making seating for six. On the starboard side there is another L-shaped settee that mirrors the one on the port making the salon a perfect place for socializing.
Below deck on the M50 there are three staterooms and two heads. The full-beam master is aft and its large size is uncommon in a boat this lenght. The mater stateroom features a couch on the starboard side, an office/vanity, and an island queen bed that is set at a 45-degree angle. It has an abundance of storage in drawers, hanging lockers, and underneath the master bed. The forward stateroom is the VIP stateroom. It features an island queen bed, two hanging lockers, and drawers within the foot of the bed. The third stateroom is perfect for the kids as it is a bunked berth.
Enclosed Flybridges have the great benefit of being protected in rough seas and bad weather making it so you can still entertain underway even if the weather is not the best. The enclosed flybridge on the Maritimo M50 features the helm on the starboard side. The helm has two captain chairs and an array of electronics. To the aft is a settee and a table that make it easy to socialize while underway. Unlike the M48, the M50 features more wood and fabric and less fiberglass. Also in the aft is a sliding glass door leading to an outdoor deck. This area is perfect for adding several chaise lounges and enjoying the sunset while at anchor.
