Boating Industry Magazine named the Cruisers 390 Express Coupe one of the 2015 Top Products. It is easy to see why as it is one of the most versatile boats I have seen. Cruisers really thought through this boat when they were designing it. Whether you are having a romantic lunch for two or entertaining friends on a sunset cruise this boat is able to easily change to suit your needs. Not to mention the main deck offers 157 sq. ft. of entertaining space.
The cockpit on the 390 Express Coupe a standout feature on this boat. It is one of the most useful as well as innovative aft deck/cockpit areas that I have seen on boat this size. Cruisers Yachts really thought this area through when designing this boat. The cockpit has at least four configurations it can be. To begin it can be a regular U-shapes settee that is great for socializing. Then when it is time to eat there is a table that can be placed in the center that can easily accommodate six guests for dinner. After dinner when you just want to lounge the table lowers to create a platform for cushions that create a large sunpad. When you want to lay and catch the rays the back rests fold down. The last configuration is that the modules move and you can move the port module outboard.
The ergonomic helm allows you to be in complete control of the vessel. The instruments and controls have been designed to make it feel like they were custom engineered to you. The captain’s seat is a double bench with a flip-up bolster. The companion lounge is adjacent to the helm providing fantastic views of the whole boat. Behind the captain’s seat is the grill/bar that all the amenities you need for a day of cruising such as a sink and fridge. Above the helm and companion seat is a canvas sunroof that is operated by a control toggle at the helm.
On the bow is a lounging sunpad that is perfect for catching rays. This is a rather large sunpad as a person 6 feet tall can easily lounge on it without their feet hanging off. Another great part of the sunpad is that there are adjustable backrests.
Below the main deck is the cabin. This cabin is perfect for a getaway for a couple. It features a galley that has all the features you need such as a sink, a fridge, electric stovetop, and a microwave/convection oven. It also has a forward dinette that allows for socializing with cook and with other guests. This dinette can easily sit seven people. The dinette can also be used as a secondary stateroom as the table lowers and filler cushions can be placed. The master stateroom is a sanctuary. It is a full beam master that has a luxurious double berth and a port side settee. Off the master is the head. The head features a walk-in shower and plenty of natural light.
If you are looking for a boat for entertaining or for short overnight trips with your significant other then this boat is a good match for you. It is extremely versatile offering several cockpit configurations and dining space both indoors and out as well as a mater stateroom sanctuary down below.
